"I’ve never considered myself to be a racist, but recently, I’ve begun to think, maybe I should be."

Keep on the high road. Don't lower yourself to their racist level. I understand it is tempting with being bombarded daily with certain groups of people wanting special privileges and a free ride, but that also includes many of lessor to zero melatonin content. Stand firm, please.

Alot of it can be traced back to their home life...Age of parents, drug use, family values.....The welfare system DID destroy the American family...And I'm not sure how much influence DC with one of the highest drug use in the nation has on the open border, drug trafficking scenario, but I'm betting it's a lot bigger than we'll ever know.

"What is wrong with people who refuse to take advantage of the opportunity offered them in this country. As someone here on FR once said: Some refugees come here not even speaking the language and with nothing more than the shirt on their backs. Within a few years their kids are graduating from high school with honors, they own their own home and three nail salons, and they’re driving a BMW."

I'm sure you're thinking of certain Asian immigrants. Having grown up in an area of Los Angeles around many second generation Japanese, I had the upmost respect as they excelled in school and flourished in everything they attempted. They were model citizens.

That said, I've always believed that work ethic and the reluctance to take handouts is a cultural thing, not a melatonin thing. There are "gimmes" in every ethnic group, including whites.

So, keep the high road, dear lady.

He’s laughing at all the innocent people arrested under “hate crime” laws while the real criminals go free.

In the early days of Glenn Beck, he recounted a newspaper article from some major big city. The article said there were black immigrants coming in from Nigeria who were stating up businesses and whose kids were going to school, and at the schools, these kids were being beaten up as outsiders...and some of the ones doing the beatings were parents of the school kids.

Now, if you read that, our preconceived filters would say, "Man, some white kids are beating on those black foreign kids! What terrible people we are!"

Of course, later the real story comes out. The kids doing the beating were black themselves, and they were doing it because the new kids were trying too hard. The new kids, who had been raised with a work ethic and who were glad to be receiving a free education in a land where the secret police didn't make you disappear in the middle of the night were a threat to the existing inner city black kids because they were "dissing" them by getting outstanding grades. Yep, their (implied WHITE) choice to excel was embarrassing the other kids...and their parents...who were later reported to also be upset at how well the smart kids parents were doing in the neighborhood, pushing out homegrown businesses (by working 20 hours a day, providing good service, cheap prices and quality product.)

In the end, remember it is all about Culture, not Color. Through Uncle Sugar's Magic Giveaway Program we have destroyed a big chunk of black families. Where men were once shunned if they failed to provide for their family, we have made Uncle Sugar the provider, with no social stigma. Where once it was looked down on to have a child out of wedlock, now it is a "lifestyle choice." For this select slice of the black pie, the inner city subculture, the "pastors" spend more time Blaming Whitey than condemning sin in their congregants. With the Absent Dad, the programming that says, "go make something of yourself! What's wrong with you!?" is replaced by the grandmother saying "The police are shooting our babies!!! Little (27-year-old) Willie is just hated by all those racist bosses he's had that keep firing him for no reason at all!"

I think people of every color have the benefits of our great land, and all can excel and make themselves as rich as their own efforts can take them. Democrats tell these people that "there is no possible way you can get ahead on your own, you need us to take money from the evil rich people and provide for you." Of course, you know, this difference of opinion is what makes ME and people like me, "racists."

"Is it racist to want to live among people who look like me? Is it racist to not want to see doo-rags, gold teeth(where id that money come from?) and pants on the ground when I go to the local stores? I don’t think it is racist, it may be separatist but not racist."

You make a valid point. It is natural for people to want to be around other people who have much in common. As I've pointed out above, that is more of a cultural thing and not matter of skin coloring. Everyone says they have friends of differing races, I actually did when I was growing up and still do. We all had the same values.

Still I don't want to be around black 'hood types, asian wannabes, hispanic Aztec types, nor white biker 1%er trash. Their outlook on life and behavior just doesn't gel with mine. Again, culture.

The melting pot of America went too far. While some were wrongfully treated in the early days, of late, we (European ancestry) only want others to conform to values/culture that this Nation was founded upon. Yes, there is an American culture. Or at least there was and it benefited the entire World.

Those who don't want to subscribe to those traditional and time tested values, no matter their ethnicity (including whites) can go live elsewhere. I reserve the right to not associate with them. If that makes me a separatist, so be it.

My guess is that the average Democrat watching the video would think that the New Black Panther Party's offense was trivial, that Bush went after them either out of racism or because his Justice Department was playing politics, and that it was good that Holder threw the case out.

Coates and others who have argued that this case should have been taken seriously are operating on the assumption that all citizens should have equal rights and that all citizens are entitled to the equal protection of the laws. That may be the premiss of the 14th and 15th amendments and the Voting Rights Act of 1965, but the reality is for the last 40 or 45 years the government and the elites have not believed that. The governing principle is that some people are more equal than others.
