This blogger is a libertarian, probably one of those crazy antiwar.com Rockwellites. He probably views every politician (and everyone outside the cult) as more or less the same, but what he has to say is at least worth debating. A challenge can help clarify one's thinking.

How do you distinguish between a politician's malevolent personal agenda and the beliefs shared by his party or faction? How do you distinguish between those personal or ideological factors and what governments habitually do?

Obviously Obama is on the left of his party, but how much does he really stand out from others who are there? Is what he's doing traceable to personal factors, or to the fact that very liberal Democrats now have control of the White House and both branches of Congress for the first time in decades.

Just how interesting is Obama anyway? And how much of your own thinking may be based on the idea that he's more original and distinctive than he really is?

I don't agree with all Markley's points myself, but his view is one I haven't seen put in print so well before. It's certainly is worth discussing, if only to decisively prove him wrong and prove one's own opinion. What do you think?

“This blogger is a…”

Really, really anyone really believe this….there is a Grand Canyon divide between the two factions…and they do not share the same psychosis.

While D’Souza attempts to claim pResident Mau Mau is antibusiness, he is not…he is Anit-American! Except for the graft, political corruption and racism, which he enjoys very much.

So, Markley or whoever wrote the post is so-full-of CRAP and enough time to use a word processor without having anything important to say in making anything better!
