Why is this effort to get a legit Democratic Senate candidate Kendrick Meek to step down? It sure in the end is NOT going to help Charlie Crist of FL in his bid to become the USA Senator. Last time I checked, according to a Rasmussen Reports, in a telephone report of likely voters, Marco Rubio LEADS Charlie Crist, current GOP Governor of FL, Marco Rubio leads Charlie Crist, Rubio 50% to Crist 30%. CBS News Harry Smith interviews DNC Chairman Tim Kaine about this FL USA Senate race MESS between former President Bill Clinton and the FL Democratic Senate candidate. Is this an effort by the Democrats to throw one of their own “under the bus?” PLEASE, let Mr. Meeks finish his campaign in PEACE. Can you get ready to say “Senator-Elect” Marco Rubio?

On Fox & Friends this morning, Meek said that Crist called him at 4:45 AM on Monday morning wanting to set up a meeting. Then he was waiting for Meek off stage after Meek made a speech and offered Meek a cross his sister had given him with instructions to think about dropping out of the race.

Crist has obviously gone off his rocker.

The funny thing is that if Christ had just played it smart after losing the Florida primary, he would probably have been able to run for higher office another time (as a Republican)
and no one in Florida would know what a snake he really was.
Now he is like a political leper and leaders of both parties run screaming into the night at his approach and his primary accomplishment appears to be that he turned out to be a lunatic who is seriously in need of long term care in the nearest asylum.

I think you are right. If he had run for reelection he would have won and could have set his sights higher. Or if he had lost the primary or withdrawn he could have run against Nelson next time and probably would have had a shot there. Instead now he ends his career pretty much as a joke.

I love it that they are so afraid of Marco. Apparently they think he is a conservative 0bama!

Believe me, by what I have seen so far, you are right in your opinion here. If Crist had stayed far enough away from making a bid for the US Senate, he could have done better running for another term as Governor of Florida or another state position. As it stands, he is FINISHED and frankly, NEEDS to get his head examined.

Meek had one of the better lines...”I was nominated by the Democrats. Charlie Crist nominated himself.”

Not verbatim, but close, and the same goes for Murkowski.

I think Christ was talked into asking Meeks by a democrat operative. My bet is he is going to have a public melt down he does not seem to stable to me.

"Take this, it burns..."

I've never liked Crist from day one. I'm sorry he ever won the primaries that year, I knew he was worthless.

However the past few weeks have pretty much confirmed my thoughts at a national level. What a total scumbag!

“What a total scumbag!” (Crist)

What is it with him, Mukowski, Castle, etc.? I hate to say it, but there are Democrats that have more integrity than these bums.
