TENNESSEE TRAITORS – Lamar Alexander (R) & Bob Corker (R)
NoisyRoom.net ^ | 12-28-2010 | AJ

Backroom deals won’t do Tennessee much good if America’s national security is compromised.

Tennessee Senators Lamar Alexander (R) and Bob Corker (R) must not have considered national security when they decided to vote in favor of ratifying the dangerous New START Treaty. They also failed to research Russia’s alliance with countries like Iran, China, North Korea and Venezuela.

It appears the Tennessee Senators were interested in bringing home the pork at the expense of our nation’s security. Zachary Roth’s December 23rd article states:

“It will likely include more than $6 billion dollars for a uranium processing facility, to be built at the Y-12 weapons compound in Oak Ridge, Tennessee (pictured). Indeed, the states' two GOP senators, Bob Corker and Lamar Alexander, both said that money for modernization -- and therefore, in all likelihood, pork for their district -- was a key condition of their support.”

Senator Corker’s voting record has been relatively honorable, so it would be disgraceful if he betrayed the best interest of our country only to cave for a backroom pork deal.

Progressive Senator Lamar Alexander’s voting record is a different story. Here are just a few Progressive nuggets in his voting record.

Food Takeover – he voted ‘Yes’ on S.510 which now gives the federal government fascist control of our food supply. Liberals and conservatives who researched this bill opposed it.

$15 Billion Slush Fund – He voted ‘Yes’ on HR 2847 which gave Obama another $15 Billion Stimulus for his special interest union pals. Under the guise of an infrastructure “Jobs Bill”, unemployment has risen since its passage on March 17, 2010 and Obama admitted publicly that there are no shovel ready jobs.

Forced Volunteerism and Child Recruitment – He voted ‘Yes’ on HR 1388 which recruits children from our public schools and universities to become part of Obama’s Civilian Security Force. Required reading for this program includes Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”.

Sonia Sotomayor Confirmation – He voted ‘Yes’ for a racist Marxist to serve on our Supreme Court.

Lamar Alexander is up for re-election in 2014. Unless he openly recognizes the damage he's inflicting on our country by voting for unconstitutional legislation and a dangerous treaty, it’s time to search for someone else... a constitutional and fiscally responsible person who can run against him in the 2014 primary election.

Great post.

Alexander's and Corker's vote on START needs to be known widely across Tennessee.

I had a lot of respect for Corker until I saw he sold out the country for some cash for his home state.

It almost seems like we have a one party system.

These men are treasonous for selling out our national security.

As a constituent of these two Benedict Arnolds, I sent each one of them a direct but respectful e-mail expressing the depth of my disappointment.

Their replies? Standard, electronic pablum from Corker.

Alexander? Still waiting. The silence from this little, vapid weasel is deafening.

Utter arrogance on the part of both. They obviously don’t care about the voters who put them there.

How do these guys pass the scratch n' smell test then they all turn into smelly lap dancers? Look at Scott Brown. I'd like to smack him into yesterday. I'll donate to anybody that runs against him.

The scarey thing is we don't know what we're voting for. They're all nice homeboys or homegirls till they get to DC and get bought off. Really I think all this hype about the war against the terrorists is to take the attention off the real terrorism that is in our own Capitol building. I'd insert a /s, except I wouldn't mean it.

Since they are senators, and don't have districts, "pork for their district" doesn't make any sense. Sloppy reporting is an annoying distraction.

When these guys come up for re-election they need to be beaten. Their replacement will then see there is a price to be paid when you run as a republican but are really a liberal/socialist/marxist.

Well, the folks we sent to DC last November have not been seated yet. The folks that voted for the START treaty are the core of the RINO, really DIABLO class. They should be challenged at every primary if possible. Perhaps a better play would be to exclude them from the Republican caucus. These people are the enemy in our midst. Even Goober Gram is beginning to get the idea. SC throw his @ss out in 2014 anyway.

After I emailed Sens. Alexander and Corker urging them to vote against the treaty, I received a reply from Alexander's
office thanking me for my support of the food safety bill.
Though I was against that bill I had not contacted them in regard to it.
Nothing from the Corker camp to date.

I hammered both of these jerks for months with emails saying “NO!” to START. Both replied stating they had problems with the treaty and I hoped they’d vote against it.

I sent a nasty email right after they voted for it.

Last Thurs., I received a lengthy email from Corker explaining why he was proud to vote for it after all. *spit*

Still nothing from Alexander.

I just hope we can get good candidates to run against them - - Corker in ‘12 and Alexander in ‘14. These two RINOs need to go!
