Many are interested in his views on family values and issues as he will play a huge part in Election 2012.
In the December 1, 2010 RNC candidate forum, Priebus provided a few details about his politics. He said he believes the RNC is "part of" the Tea Party movement. He believes in the Christian God.
He stated that if he were elected as RNC chair it would be through God's blessing; believes it is the Republican Party's mission to "save our country, to save our party, and to take back the White House.
He believes someone who is "pro-abortion, pro-stimulus, pro-AIG ... might not be a Republican.
He believes that being pro-life is "paramount" to the Republican Party platform. He wants to ban earmarks and to require photo IDs to vote. He opposes the legal recognition of same sex marriage. His political heroes include Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln, and he has stated that he owns five guns.

His gun ownership is concerning.
Five guns... That’s scary.

It way too few.
“way too few.”
LOL
Don’t give money to the RNC donate directly to candidates you have personally vetted.
“Dont give money to the RNC donate directly to candidates you have personally vetted.”
Husband and I have been doing that for a long time.
I was angry at Chris Christie especially for supporting the mosque at Ground Zero.
Of course, the politicians have to prove themselves first, but this article makes me very optimistic.
I get more excited about Christy every time I see him on TV.
This man has the best gift of gab, a very important trait to succeed in rough and tumble of politics. Too bad Sharron Angle does not have it. Otherwise she would be Senator Angle now.
I saw his acceptance speech last night. Don’t know his political beliefs, but he came across as the kid at the beach who gets sand kicked in his face.
Until the RNC stops giving us the RINO horn up our wazoos I can’t see giving them any support at all. But I do appreciate you posting this article about them. As long as the RNC has any influence we should stay informed about their doings.
“he came across as the kid at the beach”
Maybe that’s what makes him effective; Dems don’t expect it, as I heard he got a Republican Governor, and Republican U.S. Senator elected in Wisconsin.
So, that lady he beat, Cino.... is not a Republican?
How long before the media nicknames him Little Tent Preibus?
He looks like Mr. Bean. Good luck.
I hope he’s not one of those “moderates”!
I think if the GOP gets its principles back, the “little tent” will get much bigger - Tea Party big!
From the link in the OP: “He wants to ban earmarks and to require photo IDs to vote.”
Which will make it more difficult for ILLEGALS to vote. This is good for Republicans, since illegals usually vote for Dems (although the Dems will never admit it).
We can hope. It certainly would bring some of the donors back.
Yeah...but how many pallets of ammo does it come with....?
I much prefer Prince Rebus.
Did he get them elected or were they just good candidates?
