On Fox News Sunday, Chris Christie repeats Palin criticism of being too scripted. Chris Christie surprised some conservatives only a few days ago when he alleged that Sarah Palin would never be president because of her tendency not to go unscripted in media appearances. He also surprised conservatives when he heaped praise on Barack Obamas Tucson speech at the same time. Yesterday while he was being interviewed by Chris Wallace, Christie confirmed again that he still feels that Palin is doing herself a disservice by avoiding unscripted moments with the media. His reasoning is that she will hurt her chances of becoming president if she continues avoiding unscripted situations because the American people learn the most about politicians when they have unscripted moments while campaigning.

He’s right. At the same time, we don’t need another Teleprompter moron like Barry.
Chris Christy should not be considered a conservative outside of NJ....for NJ politics. outside of there,(or NY or Mass-0f-2-$h!t$...fill in your favorite leftist state) he is at best a moderate...maybe a tad better than a Rockefeller ‘republicrat’...if at all....
He is the best thing NJ has seen in decades...and is a good thing for the people of his state...as, let say, Rudy Giuliani...but never should be considered for national Republican office.
They are all just looking/hoping/praying for something that she said that can be used to destroy her and any chances to run as a serious candidate for president.
As someone who owns and lives in a house in NJ (as well as an apartment in NYC), I can say that Chris Christie is turning into an egotistical, big-mouthed bore. I supported him as attorney general, voted for him as governor but he spends too much time schmoozing with Imus and that creep Scarborough instead of turning around this god-forsaken state.
And he has NO opinion on the Ground Zero Mosque despite the huge amounts of deaths in NJ caused by 9/11.
Same with Brown in Mass.
I think he thinks she will be great, ala JFK and I bet she is great...
Not to worry...she’ll get there in her own time and blow them all away.....the press is going to fall in love with Sarah....that’s what the power brokers are really afraid of....the media and the world loved JFK so much they had to kill him.....
let’s hope Sarah has better protection from the government
He heaped praise on Barack Obamas Tucson speech.Christie must want Obama to give him a second look on the billion dollar stimulus deal he didn’t get.sucking up is not the way to rule a state.
No one complained that Jimmy Carter or George H.W. Bush didn’t do enough unscripted interviews two years before their first runs for president. Reagan was infamously kept under wraps by bungling (and ultimately fired) campaign manager John Sears all the way up through and including the Iowa Caucuses.
If Palin decides to run, she will have more unscripted opportunities in the first two weeks than George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter had through their entire primary seasons in 1980 and 1976, respectively.
There is no reason for her to not keep her powder dry.
I would say you could call teleprompters, “scripted.”
Pretty sad lot to continue with the criticism.
Basically the "Republicans in congress should follow MY example of New Jersey."
Although I agree with some of his points, he could compete with Bill O'Reilly in the number of times he said "I" during the portion of the interview I saw.
There is some truth here.
This will be the biggest 2 years of her life. She needs to go off script and she needs to go into enemy territory if she wants to win the Presidency.
She will have to roll with the punches.
Its like a young baseball pitcher who has been protecting their arm. One of these days they are going to prove they can pitch all 9 innings.
christie double standard
obama = excellent speech
palin = too scripted, you can’t tell if its from the heart
The press is never going to fall in love with a conservative Republican.
She was obviously reading the whole Tuscon video. It’s an emotional deal and she just came off flat and disconnected.
I didn’t agree with her decision to respond to the “Sarah’s fault” critics in the first place and then the execution was bad.
I want to support her, but she needs work.
