Letter from Kitau in Mombasa , Kenya . I happen to be Kenyan. I was born 1 month before Obama at Mombasa medical center. I am a teacher here at the MM Shaw Primary School in Kenya I compared my birth certificate to the one that has been put on by Taitz and mine is exactly the same. I even have the same registrar and format. The type is identical. I am by nature a skeptical person. I teach science here and challenge most things that cannot be proven. So I went to an official registrar today and pulled up the picture on the web. They magnified it and determined it to be authentic. There is even a plaque with Registrar Lavenders name on it as he was a Brit and was in charge of the Registrar office from 1959 until January of 1964.

1) The Obama's mother was in Mombasa, was not allowed to board a plane to return, went swimming, and then was rushed to Coast General Hospital to give birth August 4 1961, returning to Hawaii four days later where the birth was then registered--- as is allowed by Hawaiian law.
2) A long letter from a Kenyan teacher, also born in 1961, comparing his BC to Obama's Mombasa BC.
3) Confirmation that Sir Edward F. Lavender was indeed the colonial registrar for Mombasa in 1961, Source: "Kenya Dominion Record 4667 Australian library."
Food for thought? Can anyone research any of this further?

This letter was posted about6 a year ago...but like others will remain a birther until I see a real BC.

I think David has thought for a long time that the Mombasa certificate was valid, although many copy/fakes were made to muddy the waters.

The footprint on the BC could be the key, if Obama’s footprint could be made available to compare.
Worked 4 years in East Africa..many sharks in the waters near Mombasa..but..the beaches are fine..the 1950’s and early 60’s in Kenya was not good for White settlers and tourism. Land grabs in the 60’s.
Train travel Nairobi to Mombasa was 13 to 15 hours. Air travel to Kenya was and is expensive. Africa is a big..big place.
Obama being born in Mombasa..is highly doubtful. There are several old threads on this.
The Founders, the Law of Nations and natural born citizen in my opinion is the key.
In 1991 my travel time was 3 days via air from Djibouti to Addis, to Cairo to Frankfurt.

So she went from the delivery room straight to the airport, spent two or three days traveling from Kenya to Hawaii, then went directly from the airport to the registrars office?
Conversely God could come down with a gold plated copy of Obama's long form birth certificate in His hand and a lot of people would say, "Yeah but..." Obama's behavior in all this has guaranteed that no matter who produces what at any time there is going to be a significant percentage of people who doubt it.
IIRC the “Lavender” document is an authentic Australian birth record used as a template to forge the document in question. It was discussed extensively here a couple of years ago.
I’ve seen lots and lots of newborn footprints and the one circulating on the internet to prove birth in Kenya is an obvious forgery.
