Thanks for the menu. It appears to be far less trendy than the previous efforts which were risibly outre. I'm glad to see that some restraint has been finally found from the menu-makers in the Kenyan Clown's administration.

Guess you missed the threads yesterday about the $400 bottles of wine served.

I did indeed miss any such threads; however, I have to say that $400 bottles of wine sound more appropriate to me for a state dinner than, say, the $5 per bottle swill that Mrs. Obama received from the Spanish king back in August.

I don't object to good wine served at state occasions; indeed, I have myself bought more expensive wine for appropriate occasions.

I have objected in the past to the ridiculous menu items that the Kenyan Clown's menu-makers have included at various functions; at least on this occasion, it appears that they have included more appropriate fare than in the past.
