The headline is a flat-out lie.

He refused to grant a divorce to a pair of bulldykes who had pretended to contract a marriage in Vermont. Kansas law does not recognize these bulldykes as being spouses of each other. They aren’t married. Since they aren’t married, they can’t be divorced.
