America citizens tell their stories about living on the border Obama refuses to defend

By The State of Texas has set up a website to collect and post the stories real victims of Barack Obama’s non enforcement border policies have to tell.

The stories these real Americans tell need to be heard and acted on

“…we do have lots of drugs and humans crossing the ranch and we did feel that our lives were in danger. On several occasions, we had illegal immigrants trying to break into our house. I had to hold people at gunpoint to save our lives. People don’t realize that the border is also the site of major oil and gas infrastructure and the Eagle Ford Shale gas play. The industry does nothing to secure the area and they make it impossible for law enforcement or landowners to anything. We have no idea who is working for the oilfield and who is smuggling drugs.”

Thousands of illegals a day

“That is 22 miles of fence that we have to maintain. Once or twice a weeks a truck with illegals or drugs will drive thru the fence. The cows get on the highway. We have to pay to repair the fence, etc. It’s a huge headache….. When we lived on the ranch, I was more worried about the illegal immigrants because there were 1000′s a day and they are desperate and they will sometimes break into houses, beat up oilfield workers, steal trucks, etc. I wasn’t so worried about a bale of marijuana breaking into my house. We had five dogs and we were never out after dark driving around the ranch.”

Spillover from Mexico

“I have been living in the Rio Grand Valley for 56 years. Let me tell you that it is getting bad. I can’t even go to my ranch without being armed. My ranch…" more

The way Barack Obama sees it, Texans haven’t suffered enough.

Texas has a National Guard and a governor. The problem is Texans worry more about inane BS like football instead of the border. If you are waiting for Obama then forget it. If Perry had any guts he would take charge but he is an open-border RINO like Cornyn and Kay Bailey. Texans vote in this crap - so what do you expect.

Maybe Rick Perry will be a man and stand up to Obama - I will not hold my breath. TX is going to end up like California.

Agree about not being on back burner, but this is only half the story.......the other half sits on his arse in Austin.

I'd argue that obamma has been better on the border issue than GWB (Jorge Arbusto)... obama has pretty much continued the bush policy of non-enforcement, but he hasn't prosecuted any border agents for doing their job (AFAIK), and he hasn't made amnesty for the criminal alien invaders the number one issue of his presidency like shrub did.

If he manages to screw us with another amnesty, I'll agree that he was as bad as Reagan on the immigration issue, but only ded kennedy has done more demographic damage to the nation than bush II (best prez mexico ever had!!)

Put a DMZ on the southern border: minefields, machine guns, gunships, quick reaction forces.

Agreed. It looks like Rick Perry could do whatever he is able to do to control the Texas border. If he wanted to. I remember him threatening to sent the Texas Rangers down there a while back. Bush never did anything either. Its just not in the current plan.

For Obama it’s just a bunch of crackers being killed, but let one black get killed and he would call in some A-10’s.

They are all what I call LBJ Republicans. As long as business is good and we can make money off of illegals then ignore the problem. Maybe Texans can vote in non RINOs for a change. The state will end up like CA in the not so distant future.

Standing in the TSA line at Tucson airport the other day was a guy ahead of me telling everyone in earshot - including the 2 BP guys standing next to the line - that he lives 6 miles north of the border and it's a parade through his property.

I said, "Thanks Janet!" and he laughed and said, "Yeah. Thanks Janet for nothing!!

The Border Patrol guys just smiled.

The TSA idiots looked blank.
