As if it werent ironic enough that the Nobel Peace Prize-winning, staunchly anti-war President Obama is taking personal credit for killing Osama Bin Laden, he actually sent the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, AKA DevGru, AKA Team Six to do it.
Want to know more about Team Six? Heres the second-smartest man on Earth to tell us whats what:

As more and more information comes out it appears that the Bush Administration actually deserves the credit.
I hate opportunistic politicians who brag about themselves for things they did not do.
But the facts seem to be:
1. The Bush Administration put together the “assassination team”.
2. The Bush enhanced interrogation in overseas facilities led to the information being gathered.
3. The Bush Administration's detaining and interrogating terrorists at Gitmo provided additional information needed.
All these actions were strongly criticized by the politicians now taking credit for Bin Laden’s death.

Colbert talks about heney assassination squads as reported by Seymour Hersh, but no where does he mention Seal Team Six.
I never heard about Seal Team Six before Sunday, have you?

Put together under the leadership of Marcinko.
Congrats Marcinko!
To: Lakeshark
They don't tell you the whole truth. This man created Seal Team Six.
Richard "Demo Dick" Marcinko.
It's nice to know a bad-a$$ like this is on OUR SIDE!
Not to mention ... he's not a bad author, either.

Let’s face it; this is part of a decade-long effort that the President can’t stop politically. Therefore, what he would rather not have done, but can’t stop, he switches around to use as much as he can for his own political gain.
Politics 101 for the left.

According to Rush today, team six was called 'dick cheney's assination crew' back in the day when the left did everything they did to destroy the incredible defense team and policies President Bush built-to fight terrorism and keep us safe.
Of course now that obama is in charge (so to speak, I'd rather say george soros and bill ayers are in charge) the left loves our brilliant military team.
Hard not to hate the left.

If you’ve read Clancy’s Dead or Alive, you’re probably wondering what circles Clancy hangs with. Despite being written late 09, it’s basically a play by play of the OBL take down.

I haven't read it just yet, was saving it for my week long vacation in June. Is it a good read/worth it like the the classic Clancy (ie Debt of Honor, Without Remorse, HfRO) or more like the books of the last 10 years that have his name on it but are written by other writers?
Any input is appreciated.
