So be it, you could be Karl "pig face" Rove with that rino statement. And no they has not been a 100% paid back, damn we really don't know how many billions AIG got when you include all of the illegal dealings with the fed, but by now it is real close to a trillion, and there is all the funds deposited in the world bank, etc, etc

If I supported TARP I could get on the couch with Newt and Nancy. There is no difference in your argument on TARP and those in the republican party pushing amnesty.

You are being ridiculous. and as for your Karl Rove comparison to me, it’s laughably ignorant. My anti Karl Rove articles across the internet have gotten rave reviews for years from folks named Coulter and Limbaugh and others.

Besides, I never said I was for it.

The fact remains that TARP is mostly paid back (yes, I agree the AIG Goldman foreign bank part is stinky as hell, but that was not how it was sold) but that’s beside the point. It was not a clear ideological issue and many conservatives of great economic esteem were in favor of it as a necessary evil.

Many more credentialed than you will ever be - many who helped craft Reaganomics.
