We're just living in it. Says...Juan Williams...
Very interesting conversation about the results of Paul's being the father of the Tea Party movement, and in particular following on the discussion of the legalization of drugs.

Juan Williams is one sick puppy. His rants border on insanity.
Why don’t you participate on Free Republic threads that don’t link to this blog?
BS!
Juan Williams’ comment made me madder than hell, as he is using Ron Paul as a stealth weapon AGAINST the Tea Party...
Rick Santelli’s comment about a Tea Party from the trading floor makes HIM more the “father of the Tea Party” than Paul. And he’s not running for President.
Juan Williams hopes to injure the Tea Party with Paul’s drug legalization rhetoric....shame on you, Williams.
So you just take someone else’s video, Fox Business in this case, post it on your blog and think we should give you some hits?
Why not link to the original and not load the spyware on Freepers computers?

This critter doesn’t even participate in it’s own blogpimping threads:

Freakin’ spam bot.
Shut up, Juan.
Go back to PBS so our enemies will be headquartered in one place!
Because they are a blog pimp trying to drive traffic from FR to a blog. There was a post by Jim about excepts and blog pimps. Unfortunately, I didn't save it.
I did.

Yay Humble!!!!
Thanks! I saved it.

The problem assigning the movement to mainman is traceability to the big events of February 2009. Others have sporadically called for tea parties but nothing ever came of it until the Gmack comment.
So no, the mighty Ron Paul is not the founder of the Tea Party; the humble Gmack is. Poetic justice.
Here is another one to save.
...and no blog-pimping if all you are doing is ripping off a news article posted elsewhere.

Thank you! Saved!
One more, because collecting these are fun!
Got a news flash for you, sport. FR does not exist for the purpose of driving traffic (read: revenue generation) to your, or anybody elses, blog. What we can do is pull threads from this blog if that will help.

Santelli does probably have the best case for that “father of” title. But, because of the “tea party money bomb” which raised $6 Million for Ron Paul in December 2007, he’d get some sort of title as well. You don’t really have any other Presidential candidate besides Ron Paul with any real claim to the title. Palin would get “Queen of”.
Thank you again.
I suppose I am something of a lurker of comments about the things I post. I do read everything that everybody says about what I write. Sometimes I join in the discussion. Most times, since the writing is something I do when I happen to have the time, I do not have the time to get into an animated discussion here about it.
I can understand being viewed as a pimp for my own blog, and I guess I’ll live with that, since, well, I’d like people to see it.
I find that it’s pretty self-regulating on FR whether or not I get any hits from the general community. If I write something interesting, it gets hits. If, like this one, it’s largely just an excerpt or a video I came across, I get hardly any, though oftentimes on humor videos, they’ll draw a lot of attention.
Hopefully I bring something substantive here from time to time. If I don’t, I am willing to read and absorb the abuse for not contributing up to what is considered to be the general level of acceptability.
