(Not sure about the Jordan part, but it was something like that.)

The historical record clearly shows that Jordanian King Hussein flew to Cairo a day before the war to coordinate matters, and he flew back home accompanied by Shukairi, who Nasser had appointed as the head of the PLO, which he had created in 1964 as proxy fighters.
Hussein had his inadequate arms massively supplemented by Iraqi armor funneled through Syria.

I wish I could find the reference to the amount of arms each side had at the beginning of the 6-day war. Israel was outmatched I think something like 6 to 1 in weapons, and 15 to 1 in bodies.

When I said I wasn't sure about the Jordan part, I meant how the GEICO commercial expressed the Jordanian involvement. The commercial only said that Egypt and Syria were attacked by Israel. But they made it clear that Jordan got involved too, and not in a way that might have made them to appear to have initiated military action.
