Well, a Gunny would be a “lifer” and I’d bet these days you’ve got to be in for at least a dozen years to make E-7; maybe more.....so it’s my wager he’s not giving up his retirement.
The Failure doesn’t want REAL men to serve anymore. More women, and guys like him; that’s all. Not to insult women, but brute force is necessary sometimes, and as well, I don’t believe in women serving in combat assignments.
I suspect the gays will eff it up with some kind of queer parade that denigrates their branch of services. Then they will be given general discharges for conduct unbecoming.

The military has (had?) a uniform culture and ethos.
this will be destroyed as there will be many who will not serve, and will not trust their Government, because of political correctness. It will hurt the military of course, but ultimately, it will divide the nation as these good people focus on other allegiances.
The biggest military security breach in US history was caused by a gay man. Isn’t it interesting how fast the HomObama administration practically tripped over themselves to over-turn DADT right after? Gay rights or an attempt to damage the US military even more? And just why exactly would Holder be so gung ho about trying enemy combatant KSM as a civilian with full constitutional rghts when he knows the case could be thrown out becuase of those rights? Let us not forget; We are fighting two wars here..The war against terror and the war against blatant treason which seems to be fought not at all.
I recall way back in the early ‘60s it was...fashionable to get on the afternoon talk shows (Mike Douglas, Merv Griffin, etc.) —Oprah wasn’t on the scene yet—and they would fess up to being alcoholics (drunks), and the audience oohed and ahed, and applauded, then they started copping out that they were dopers, then it was..sex addiction, then ufo abductees, on and on...
Some have questioned the statistics given by the “authorities” as to the numbers of homosexuals in the u.S.
Some have questioned these numbers; but few, if any, question the authenticity of the individual claims.
Myself, I question the truthfulness of the claims, just as many now do question the likelihood of the number of claimed RVN “doorgunners,” covert operators, etc.

Not even close. The biggest breach of which we are allowed to know was the quite heterosexual Walker Family spy ring. The Russians read every coded USN message for 20 years.
The recent breach distributed low level junk. The Walkers’ treason would have sunk our whole Navy if war had broken out.
Either DADT is reinstated, homosexuals are banned entirely or we’re probably looking at a draft in the near future.
