News broke Monday that wide receiver Randy Moss would hang up his cleats rather than seek out a new team in free agency. We asked our NFL.com and NFL Network analysts to share their reaction to Moss's retirement after 13 seasons.

(Yes, I know this is nowhere near as important as the Debt Ceiling Debacle, but if you love the NFL as much as I do, this is a pretty big story.)
weird, supposedly he was in ridiculous shape from off season workouts. That was either BS from his agent, or no one cared and were giving low-ball offers.
I think alot of teams were terrified of Moss’ attitude, but Randy behaves when he’s on a winner. The first contender that loses their number one guy will be melting his phone line. I think you’re right, he was lowballed out of the league.
Did he pantomime mooning the reporters for ol’ times sake?
Hes a thug.. good riddance
He will simply forgo training camps, continue his own very harsh workouts and wait for some team later in the game who is in the running to drop him a dime.
Ol’ Randy was classless at times, but he was a lot of fun to watch.
Well, he at least he wasn’t Cecil Collins, Lawrence Phillips, or a Cincinnati Bengal.
Monday thru Saturday....Moss was a pain in the rear....but look out on Sunday....
I hope so. I’m not a big fan of his antics, but I’d love to see him retire with a ring.
Yawn I live in Minnesota and love football.
Moss is a bum.
Ahh...football debates....
Isn’t nice to take our minds off of the death of the Republic for a nanosecond ?
Being from Minnesota, you would certainly know great WR’s. Ahmad Rashad, Cris Carter....
He would have been one of the best if not for his attitude.
I still remember him spraying a ref with a water bottle during the 2000 NFC Divisional playoff game against the Rams because his team was losing and he was shut down until “garbage time”
