At the request of tea party leaders in Arizona, famed Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has promised to investigate the validity of Barack Obama's purported long-form birth certificate in a determination of the president's eligibility for the county's 2012 election ballot.

Man, you nailed it. The hyper-degree of hostility toward those who question Obama’s official birth narrative can really be explained no other way.

reminds me, of the same documents from another state i saw online. (sorry, i don’t remember which (maybe SC?),
but i know one of you does).
that state had TWO sets of documents signed by Pelosi, etc., on the SAME day. they were identical, except for ONE line was changed, regarding eligibility.
it seems to me, that is a clear indication, they KNEW he wasn’t eligible, and the 2nd document was pure CYA.
Interesting perspective. It's not entirely accurate, but it raises a good point. Obama's name is legally certified by the various secretaries of state to be printed on ballots. But we are voting for electors and not directly for the specified candidate. The candidate appoints his electors. If said candidate is ineligible, so are his electors.

In my memory, he became well known for his refusal to coddle criminals and instead made sure they didn't want to come back to his jails. He saved his county a lot of money in the process.
Illegal immigration was incidental to what he was doing.
It already does, and the might "public" stopped caring the next day.

I heard that Hawaii had two versions and the one they accepted was a different one than the other 49 states, but I hadn't heard there are two versions for a state other than Hawaii.
Could it be that Hawaii is the state you are talking about?
He was just cleared in court from Obammy’s DoJ witch hunt against him. Turn around is fair play! LOL
I also like how the announcement of the investigation coincided with the start of Obama’s vacation. Give Barry a little something to think about while he smoking his cigarettes out on the links.

We got fake social security number stuff goin’. We got fishy mortage stuff goin’. We got fake Hawaii State election certification documents goin. And we have fake official birf documents goin’. We got a sheriff in a border state that is quite familar with all these crimes.
Obammy picked the wrong whitey to race bait for enforcing the law in Arizona! The usual suspect Rinos running cover with the DNC to hide Obama’s game had best not try to influence the sherrif’s investigation or they could become an obvilous player in the fraud, if there is any.
Hear that McLame? You violated our constitution by not checking and answering all the questions and you may have directly abetted Obammy in covering up his violation of the law.

Have you ever seen the movie "The Thing" produced by John Carpenter? MacReady gathers everyone together and and says that he will test everyone's blood by sticking a hot wire into a small sample of it. Anyone who refuses to give a blood sample will be burned down where they stand.
That is the Position Obama would be in. He would have to submit his original document, (blood) or face the consequence of being burned down. (Destroyed by the ramifications of a refusal to provide a simple easy to produce document.)
That is how the public will see it. Only the monster will refuse to give a blood sample. (or as the case in the movie, gave a blood sample only for everyone to discover that the blood leapt away from the hot wire.)
The public will not understand why Obama would rather concede a state, or put up a big legal fight, rather than produce a document which is easy for any innocent man to produce. It will work in the public mind just like the blood test in "The Thing."

Even if one applies in person at a local office, the numbers are ultimately assigned by the central SS office in Baltimore.
In 1986 when I was 16, I had to apply in person for my SSN at my local SS office in Florida. I lived with my grandparents and they were my legal guardians. I had to provide a certified copy of my parents' divorce decree granting sole custody to my father and a notarized letter from my father stating that my grandparents were my legal guardians. (I suspect Obama had to do the same since his situation was very similar. ) My local office did not issue me a SS card on the spot. My card/number was mailed to me a few weeks later.

D@mn straight! Lately all they can do is parrot Soros, and argue that half-Kenyan = ‘natural born [American] citizen’.
That is an argument I would not want to make. The Founders knew what they were doing. They realized a half-foreigner might end up being more loyal to his foreign half, so they wanted men as POTUS with undivided loyalties.
It’s almost as if they looked in a crystal ball and saw Obama or something....

It embarrasses me to tell you this. My own son (now 28, and still at home) was very enthusiastic about Obama during and at least for a while following the 2008 election. (I don't think he cares for my politics!) On April 27th, the DAY of the Bamie BC II release, when he came home from work, opened the front door and just assuming I was sitting at the kitchen table, he called out, "It's over." He came into the kitchen and I asked him what it was that was over. He said, "Obama. It's all over the internet. His birth certificate is a fraud." We don't talk about this stuff much, or at all, but my guess is that he's forgotten about it by now.
My job will be to remind him.
