Subcommittee Chairman Stearns made the following statement:
“Nearly eight months into our investigation, documents provided to the Committee last Friday confirm those closest to the President - top advisors like Valerie Jarrett, Larry Summers, and Ron Klain - had direct involvement in the Solyndra mess. In addition to the cast of West Wing characters with access to the Oval Office, documents reveal a startlingly cozy relationship between wealthy donors and the President’s confidantes, especially in matters related to Solyndra. While the President claims ‘hindsight is always 20/20’ and the loan went ‘through the regular review process,’ the facts tell a much different story with some of the loudest alarm bells on Solyndra’s viability coming from within his very own administration.”

If there’s one thing the House Republicans learned from BJ Clinton it’s that the Republicans in the Senate will not back them up on any impeachment against a dem president.
So the house investigating any dems is all just for show. Nothing ever comes of any of it.
Impeachment is about the only chance Obama has for re-election. He’ll never get convicted, and he will gain sympathy votes. Don’t get me wrong, he should be impeached, tried and convicted. But no Democrat is going to put principle before party.
It don’t mean that his staff can’t be sent to jail.
Impeachment with a big majority in the house is possible, but even with a majority in the senate, Clinton still stayed in office....it will never happen.....
That is that in 2013, they could face a Republican House, Senate, and White House.
In that case, many are bound for the Iron Bar Hotel, and they know it.
There are surely already "John Deans" who are spilling their guts and making secret deals, so that it will be Holder and Obama who take the fall, and not them.
Stearns makes an important point here - there were people within the Obama admin that were sounding the alarm bells - and they were ignored in favor of crony capitalists who had access to the top people in the administration. This is much worse than incompetance. The GOP needs to push this investigation for all it is worth.

The MSM would go wild defending him and trashing Republicans, and the Senate would NEVER vote to convict.

A wonderful thought, the end of the Republican Rhino Party and the rise of the New Conservative Party and a return to the Constitutional Republic that once was.

Won’t happen well though. obastard has primed the entitlement class to revolt if the necessary end to their dole and multi-generation life of ease ever comes about.
Change is essential, and soon, or there will be an ugly end in bankruptcy and economic collapse exceeding the one now. With the essential change though there will be revolution. Either way, it ends badly for almost all.
