Take Heart Sarah Palin Fans

Update: Palin's Devout Followers

Palin will wield incredible power in the upcoming election. She will endorse somebody in the race and she will pick who she sees as the most conservative and transformational candidate.

In the long term, she will remain a political rock star to the Tea Party and Conservatives. But more importantly, she will have heavy influence with GOP, conservative and Tea Party activists.

Longer Term: 2016 or 2020 are still in play...Palin is very young.

I have incredible respect for the Palin fans, of which I am one. They saw in Palin a person who went up against the power structure of both the Democrat and Republican Party. Take heart, Palin is not going away. She will be a power broker for some time to come.....watch her endorsement process, it could catapult somebody into the lead. ....also we will see her at the Convention. -------------------

**Below is the Breaking News Alert Mark Levin states that Sara Palin has advised him that she will not run for President.

Gov. Sarah Palin, conservative and Tea Pary rockstar will not run for President. Palin will be sought after by all comers presently in the race. She will wield a huge amount of power based on her core supporters being so devout to her.

I heard a rumor on this from a friend yesterday and almost blogged it but decided not to based on the lack of confirmation on the information

My analysis on why she didn't run and who she will endorse will be in Updates.

Below is my quick and dirty analysis of why Palin supporters should take heart.

The Palin phenomenon spurred some of the most activist and most intense supporters of a Conservative politician, that I've ever seen. Remember, the cause is more important than any one person. Take heart.

I disagree. I respect her decision, but she’s now yesterday’s news as far as I’m concerned.

She was only one of my 3 potential candidates but her endorsement will mean little to me. I’ll still be voting for who I like.

She did the right thing..

it gives us time (2016 or 2020) to convince Journalism to put on a clean pair of underwear and get rid of the pair with all those skid marks masquerading as journalists.

Her decision to not run hasn’t affected my immense regard for her in any way. In fact, the several hundred dollars I’d been saving to donate to her presidential run are now going to go to SarahPac.

Heck, if the GOP nominee turns out to be Romney, I’ll can almost promise I’ll ‘write-in’ Palin as my vote!

Many supporters are going to feel betrayed. They shouldn’t.

Many haters are going to be elated. Who cares?

Yeah, like Nixon in 1960.

In addition to trying to get the tea party's ideas implemented, she needs a serious, actual job of power and consequences if she wants a shot at 2012 or 2016.

She had that with the governorship of AK. If there was a way to keep hold of that, she would have been instead on a glide path to destroy Obama and the RINOs right now.

"2012 or 2016"

I meant "2016 or 2020".

Most conservatives are free thinkers and we’ll vote and support for who we believe is the best choice.

However, her endorsement will carry huge weight and could be the difference to help get separation from Romney.

frankly, i don’t care who Palin endorses.

the country needed her NOW.
it would take a person of EXACTLY her integrity and energy, to help the USA recover from Obama.

but,
it’s still a free country. she decided not to answer the call.

...and so, i frankly don’t care who she endorses.

Romney? i won’t even go to the polls.
Bachmann is a true conservative. but she can’t win.
Perry is soft on illegals, and outright friendly to Islam.
A true evangelical wouldn’t praise Islam and quote the Quran. He’s a fake. i don’t vote for fakes.
Cain is the ONLY candidate who is polling decently, who i will vote for.

Palin can campaign for, endorse, and vote for, whoever she wishes.

I respect Palin’s decision, but I will not help the GOP in any way shape or form. The GOP establishment let the media and the Democratic Party attack her over and over again. THEY DID NOTHING on behalf of a person who loves this country and who supports the Constitution. TO HELL WITH THE GOP, they don't care about this country any more than the Democrats do. As my dad would say, you made your bed, now sleep in it.

Will NOT vote for Romney, Cain, Perry, Paul, or any other current candidate. Period. Had Palin NOT been on the McLame ticket he would have lost by an additional 20-30 million! The whole field is PATHETIC! Not a true Conservative in the entire pack or morons!

Palin supporters should take heart from the fact that she wasn' t the only candidate/possible candidate running that is a conservative.

There are other conservative choices available. Who cares what their name is?

Well forget 2016, Obama will lose, as an incumbent the referendum on him. He has a failed presidency he is gone, any pub will win.

In 2020 she won’t have conservatives or Organize for Palin in place the way she did this year. It was a unique opportunity that won’t ever happen again for her. I wish her and her family well. She may be too sane to put her family through this.

Time for Palin supporters to move on.

I sure hope you are right. I have this suspicion, though, that her terrific power was not because of who she was, but because of who she could be. The conservative movement does not lack for cheerleaders and analysts (Steyn, Levin, Malkin, both Limbaughs, the list goes on...), but she was the only one who had a shot at the Oval Office. She was my first, second, third, and fourth choice for the job, but I would not be surprised to see her fade away fairly quickly now. Then again, she has confounded her critics many times before, so who knows...

You are not alone in your disappointment. Several people on Levin’s show were so sad they cried.

Many more are angry and feel betrayed. On FR, some of her most devout supporters are. But, we have to respect her wishes.

Media attacks did make it a tough for her in the General. She is young.

TO HELL WITH YOU!

We do not need jackasses reelecting Barck Obama, in your case not even caring who the republican nominee is.

And for a candidate WHO DIDN’T EVEN RUN! Like that’s everyone else’s fault?
