This case was filed against the registrar Alvin Onaka and Director of Health Loretta Fuddy, seeking access to the original birth certificate of Barack Obama for expert examination.

If you are a tea party member in HI, please, relate this message to the Tea Party members, Republican party members or any decent resident of HI, who wants the truth and justice to prevail. Please, relate this message to the local media.

You are being deliberately misleading.

The poll you cited about 3% was taken May 5th, days after Obama posted his forgery. Now that it is **evident** that Obama’s Internet posting is a forgery that number has indeed changed. How about a more recent poll with a link. How convenient of you to have “forgotten” to post and link and date to that 3% data!

How about a poll measuring how many people think Obama’s Internet BC is a forgery? Huh?

Also....in the first poll you listed from 2010, 25% believed that Obama was born outside of the U.S. and 29% ( or nearly 1/3) of Americans are NOT NOT NOT sure that the occupant of the White House was born in the US. Let's see:

29 + 25 = 54%

I'd say that having 54% not being dead certain that their president is a legitimate occupant of the White House is significant, indeed!

I remember a case recently that went to SCOTUS without first going to any federal district or federal circuit court. I believe the path was State court, then State Supreme Court, then SCOTUS. I googled what I recalled, and that seems to be the way it can sometimes be done.

Good thing too, because it seems like the 9th Circus plans to drag out the clock on any ruling until after November 2012.

For those points to be factual, a massive conspiracy would be required involving hundreds, if not thousands, of people across both political parties. All of them colluding to change records, falsify information, ignore laws, overlook real problems and act against their own and their party’s interests.

Widespread ignorance and apathy do not a conspiracy make. If being pigheaded and stupid qualified as a conspiracy we could lock up all the Democrats.

Given that there are alternate exlanations which can be applied to each of your “facts” (regardless of whether or not you accept those explanations), it seems to follow that to insist on your interpretation being correct requires the acceptance of this conspiracy.

Why are you promoting a conspiracy theory? It doesn't have to be a conspiracy for 50 state election officials to be so ignorant of the law and stupid enough to take Nancy Pelosi's word for someone's eligibility. Add that to the normal incompetency in most governmental bureaucracies and you have a far simpler explanation than a "conspiracy."

Some enterprisimg 2L on law review could really have some fun doing a thorough exploration of the standing problem.

When your "2L" does write about the subject, I hope you'll think to alert me to it.

IANAL, but I do read. I have O'Brien's two volume Constitutional Law & Politics (3rd Ed.) which gives some hazy ten page survey of "standing," but I'm still not sure how it became cast in Concrete Constitutional Law. And I'm even less sure why liberals should be exempted from the usual standing requirements, e.g., when they want to save snail darters or avoid hearing a Christmas Carol. (I do know Congress has granted them standing in these cases, but I don't see what the moral justification is for left wing causes getting standing and conservative ones not getting it.)

The department of the Hawaii state government that issues birth certificates has already confirmed: “On April 27, 2011 President Barack Obama posted a certified copy of his original Certificate of Live Birth.”

I spoke to a blue collar Union guy on Sunday, who will not vote for Obama because of the economy. He is totally nonpolitical. But... he laughed and said we don't even know if Obama is a citizen. I then told him it is a fact that Obama was raised as a Muslim in Indonesia, as an Indonesian citizen, and he was shocked.

So people are on to Soebarkah. It's intuitive. The know he's a fraud.
