A possible solution for Rubio regarding the eligibility issue. He may be a natural born citizen.

Important constitutional issues regarding Rubio: does a child of political refuges have split allegiance?

....Prominent birther, Orly Taitzrecently met with Sen. Rubio’s staff during a visit to Washington. “We need the court to finally adjudicate this issue, who is a natural born citizen,” Taitz, a California dentist and lawyer told the St. Petersburg Times. … Yesterday I was interviewed at length in regards to Marco Rubio and other issues by Alex Leary, reporter from St. Petersbug times. I have to say, that he was very well informed and respectful during the interview, far outcry from many other reporters and I will continue my dialog with this reporter on a number of other issues. Here is an important Constitutional conundrum, relating to Rubio’s eligibility: Does a child of political refuges, who can’t go back to his parents country of origin, have split allegiance and ineligible to be the US president? I believe, that this issue needs to be taken by the Supreme Court and adjudicated, as it is an important Constitutional question....

This I believe could be a situation that the court might agree to hear. Rubio should file a motion for a declaratory judgment with the court. I would love for him to be declared eligible and a court could do it while being consistant with the Constitution.

Obeyme was born in a US Territory (Hawaii didn't become a state until later in that same month) to one citizen and one non-citizen. If Obeyme is eligible, then Rubio ought to be.

But I agree, we need a firm determination on the constitutionality of the issue.

Rubi’s parents were born in Cuba when it was a US protectorate so that adds to the complexity.

The parents’ birthplace has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

People here simply do not get this. A child born in the United States is a natural born citizen. Period. I am amazed at how dense people can be sometimes.

He won’t because he knows dang well he is not eligible to be president or VP.

If he does anyway, he is just another lying, crooked politician. And so what else is new?

Yeah, I much prefer to rely on Orly Taitz for deciding who is or is not a "natural born citizen." /rolleyes

Rubio is a natural born citizen and doesn't need some court ruling. This is a dead issue, time to move on. The child of an American citizen is a natural born American citizen.

You are the one who is dense. You have to be born on American soil and both of your parents have to be citizens for you to be a 'Natural Born Citizen'. Try reading real authorities such as John Jay and David Ramsay.

This is an incorrect interpretation of law that needs to be challenged. People born here when their parents are here legally are citizens. The level of Natural Born is higher than that.

“...am amazed at how dense people can be sometimes.”

“Dense” is not the word. “Brain-dead” would be a better word but still not good enough...Although, “brain-dead” seems to be a finality of brain function.

I am totally flummoxed.

Like Wolfstar, you are both ‘totally flummoxed’ and ‘dense’.

I just wish the SCOTUS would sort it out. I think it’s too murky.
