‘Occupy' not in America's traditions

Protesters want government to punish Wall Street. Who’s next?

Accolades are being heaped on the Occupy Wall Street demonstrators by the Left and their mainstream media cheerleaders. President Barack Obama proclaimed, "The protesters are giving voice to a more broad-based frustration about how our financial system works." Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, "God bless them for their spontaneity!" The list goes on.

OWS supporters paint the protesters as examples of what involved Americans should do. Since the original demonstrations began Sept. 17 the protesters have delivered numerous leftist socialist demands that would change our country, but they still been lauded for carrying on in the finest American tradition. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The supporters of this movement should consider our history. The settlers of Jamestown came here for the freedom of opportunity. The Pilgrims came for the freedom to practice their religion. These settlers knew they would face hard times, maybe even death. They came anyway. The descendants of these and other early colonists became the pioneers who opened the West, even while leaving a trail of unmarked graves to punctuate their efforts. They became Americans. Our ancestors endured Valley Forge, stood fast at Gettysburg, and waded ashore on Omaha Beach to found and protect our nation. To compare the Occupy Wall Street demonstrators to them is an insult to their memory.....

Communists use this tactic to take over a country. History shows us this is what happen to the czar in Russia, the Chinese emporer and many other communist countries.
Remember obama promising healthcare and mortgage payments.
Now he is promising student loan payoffs. They are all lies but people want something for nothing and vote for the communists out of greed and hatred for anyone that has anything. It’s a sad state of affairs but I believe obama will win a second term. He is willing to do and say anything and it will probably work. The scuttle is he is planning a big event that will give him the sympathy vote
like clinton and Oklahoma City bombing. That’s my take,
I hope I’m wrong.

My main problem with the ows’ers it is a astroturf movement based on a false premise. They have their facts wrong and they are protesting the wrong people about what they think is the problem. They are nothing but Soro’s/Van Jones/Obama/Clower/Pivens tools that will be used as cannon fodder when the real leftist movement starts putting into place top down bottom up part of the plan to destablise our government.

Mark my word, it is going to turn violent, and it is planned that way. The useful idiots (the Soviets called them shit-eaters) will be used as naive cannon fodder for the lever pullers above them.

If it turns to that, and I feel it will over the next few months and with his royal highness Obongo stoking the fires of national violence as Satan Incarnate, THEN HERMAN CAIN SHOULD REALLY START NOW CREATING 1968-STYLE TV AND WEB ADS (PER THIS HOTLINK) ALONG THIS THEME BECAUSE IT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO COMPETE WITH EVEN "JOBS" AS A TOP DOMESTIC ISSUE IN 2012

Community Board Asks "Occupy Wall Street" Protesters To Clean Up, Quiet Down
NY-1 News ^ | Oct 20, 2011 | Michael Herzenberg

“This has been a nightmare,” said Brian Summers, who lives near Zuccotti Park.

Summers said those trying to force corporations to become better corporate citizens should learn to be better citizens themselves.

“It makes us feel horrible. We work down here, we live down here,” said Summers.

Drums are played each and every day. The noise registers as 117 on a decibel meter.

According to the federal government, regular exposure to 110 decibels can lead to permanent hearing loss.

From blocks away, it might not be physically harmful, but neighbors say it's damaging lives.

“We support the message, and a lot of residents do, but they also want to have a good night sleep,” said Manhattan City Councilmember Margaret Chin.

Local officials have been swamped with neighborhood complaints.

That's why they invited protesters to hear them firsthand at a Community Board 1 meeting Thursday.

Besides the noise problem, residents say protesters are pouring urine in the streets.

Our neighbors do not urinate and defecate in the street. These occupiers need to vacate our neighborhood,” said one resident.

IN my day and age such a protest would have been
an embarrassment to a hard working man or woman - read
