They don't realize when they take, someone has to give.

Tell that to your comrades in the U.S. Government pal!

It's not envy if all you want is for everyone to live a comfortable lifestyle.

So what is it when you want the comfortable lifestyle to come at the expense of someone else. Welfare leeches live better than I do and seem to have unlimited funds to do so.

A little something for the DUmmies to ponder.

We ask that the government undertake the obligation above all of providing citizens with adequate opportunity for employment and earning a living.

The activities of the individual must not be allowed to clash with the interests of the community, but must take place within its confines and be for the good of all.

Therefore, we demand:

an end to the power of the financial interests .

We demand profit sharing in big business.

We demand a broad extension of care for the aged.

We demand. . . the greatest possible consideration of small business in the purchases of the national, state, and municipal governments.

In order to make possible to every capable and industrious [citizen] the attainment of higher education and thus the achievement of a post of leadership, the government must provide an all-around enlargement of our system of public education. . . .

We demand the education at government expense of gifted children of poor parents. . . .

The government must undertake the improvement of public health — by protecting mother and child, by prohibiting child labor — by the greatest possible support for all clubs concerned with the physical education of youth.

We combat the . . . materialistic spirit within and without us, and are convinced that a permanent recovery of our people can only proceed from within on the foundation of " The Common Good Before the Individual Good ."

The above are some of the planks of the National socialist (Nazi) Party of Germany, adopted in Munich on February 24, 1920:

Jealousy is both reasonable and belongs to reasonable men, while envy is base and belongs to the base, for the one makes himself get good things by jealousy, while the other does not allow his neighbour to have them through envy. ~Aristotle

Well, it really isn't, so much.

It's all about financing a home, car and college degree, and then making someone else pay for it.

It's about free stuff more than anything else.

I think they're too stupid to see past their own short sighted desires.

(oh, I forgot ... free health care and free sex too)

Why would I envy a money-hoarder...any more than I envy the old lady with the 137 cats, or the old fart who has 350 wrecked cars in his pasture?

ROTF!

I see they have no problem with others hoarding all the I.Q.!

When they have enough, they could just stop and take a trip around the world - enjoy it - but they don't.

How can one be so completely divorced from reality?

they don't realize that while they're busy stealing the nation's resources and wealth, that by itself makes some people poor. They don't realize when they take, someone has to give.

This DUmmie is so smart. He must have graduated Zero Sum louder.

You can buy Wee Willie two pairs of shoes. He can wear three and keep the forth in his back pocket as a spare.

It really isn't about wealth envy. That's just a tactic.

It's about total control.

Or we can buy him one pair of socks and one pair of red sneakers.
Then everything matches.

A "social disease" would be appropriate.
