If Republicans want to know exactly what not to do to win in 2012, then follow advice similar to that offered by David Frum as to why Sarah Palin should “stop talking now” about the false accusations that she was responsible for the Tucson shooting:

And I do tend to take everything David Frum says with more than one grain of salt, as do a large number of people in this forum.
Too, liberals aren't the only ones trying to destroy our hopes. Beltway Republicans and GOP "insiders" are trying to do the same thing, to put the Tea Party at the back of the bus where they think we belong.

I am reposting this for the following reason: This article was written to warn or remind all conservatives and TEA party patriots of how the MSM works. Slander, lie, innuendo against any of our candidates that might take down Obama in 2012. Yes, it's about Sarah Palin, but it's also about Hermann Cain, Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann and every other conservative candidate we have. The media does this during the primary to shape the
opposition into something that can be defeated during
the main event. This is the Chicago way applied to
national politics. Obama has a history of doing this,
destroy your opponent before the race even begins.
