I can think of dozens of reasons not to vote for Romney. But this one strikes me as pretty silly.

I should think it is now standard practice for an exiting politician to wipe the hard drives on his computers, especially if he is being followed into office by someone like Deval Patrick. Why should anyone get to read the drafts or the private correspondance?

The official records are presumably in the filing cabinets.

At least Romney didn’t pry all the D’s off the keyboards. At least, not that I’ve heard.
