If I were the 1% living in American right now under Zero? I’d pull every dime and move to like Australia until an actual American was in office who got it (meaning gave a damn about the Constitution).

As soon as I see someone demanding a 'greater good' while complaining about what someone else has (the so called 1%), red flags go off.

It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master.- Ayn Rand

I would rather stand with the 1% than the self proclaimed 99% Occupy movement.

There is an obvious agenda by politicians, Parties and MSM of keeping the sheep quarreling and politically divided because they profit and benefit from it.

If we were all sitting around singing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vo9AH4vG2wA and were a united United States, the MSM would not be getting the massive revenue from the eyeballs and ears on political shows and political advertising from the Parties. The pols would have nothing to differentiate themselves. Think about it. The political divide of the masses is no accident and is there for a purpose and starts at the media.

i find it funny how many libtards try to sell their commie views by prefacing them with ‘as a conservative’... like that will make me ignore everything else that follows

the 1% are successful. yes, by definition. the 99% are less so, by varying degrees.

our country was founding on the principle of redistribution of wealth. the rich 1% would want something done, someone in the 99% would do it... and the 1% would redistribute their wealth to the 99% ... of course, it’s always been known as wages.

today, the slack ass crack heads that claim to represent the entire 99% (*cough* 20% more like) want the redistribution... without all that pesky work stuff

how about shove it up your ass and die. why don’t these crack heads do society a favor and recycle themselves?

i’ve had enough and won’t feed them anymore

Here is your chance to make amends for this stupid post. Say ten "hail freedoms".

It goes...

It isn't my money. It is none of my business. No one owes me anything. I am not poor because someone else is rich. Only I control my life.

Repeat.

Many freepers will pooh pooh you as a socialist/communist, but I do agree with you overall. Problem is when the ruling elites starts to push change in a rapid and chaotic fashion and does not let the working person rest or have respite. The working classes in society will breakdown. Free trade, globalism and corporate control of gov have produce vast wealth, lower prices for goods and etc, but it also disrupted families and income growth of working people. Most worker income grew in a saber saw pattern. Workers change jobs every 3 to 5 years, layoff new career layoff pattern. Each time he gets a new job, it is in a slightly different field and he must start at a lower salary and must prove himself. Just when he makes progress the company will lay him off and restart the cycle. Yes he will make more money but in a up and down fashion till he is in his mid 40’s. Then he is considered old and not marketable unless he is willing to settle for his final job at 1/3 less salary then last job. At this stage in life he is struggling to put his kids thru college and taking care of aging parents. Eventually all this up and down instability will break him down. He no longer view gov and corporate America favorably as he watches the ones on top never get laid off or go thru what he is. More hurtful is the ones on top gets bonuses and salary increases even when the company is losing money and laying him off. The meltdown on Wall Street is the final straw as the American public learn of all the reckless leveraging and lying in the mortgage business. Now the working American must lose their jobs because of it and worst stuck with the tax bill to bail out corporate America. Rebellion? The seeds are laid, all it needs is a spark if things do not get better. Unfortunately many freepers still have great faith and trust in corporate America. I guess things must get worst before they learn. Some don’t even understand that people can be pushed so far before they push back. Gov and corporate America is like a boat in the ocean where the people are the water. If a boat creates too much waves, the ocean will sink the boat.

I busted my ass since the time I was 6 to make the right decisions (military, grad college, get good job, get married, etc.) striving to make it into that 1% you talk about. I haven’t yet made it, but it’s good to strive, even better to make it there. Those people who make it are, by and large, good, deserving people.

For you to denigrate them is not good. It makes you look pretty dumb and, especially, very envious!

You’re definitely one of the 1%. I saw a bunch of you One Percenters trying to “occupy” DC Thursday, marching in a noisy but compact little mob, pretty much ignored by everyone except the police who were trying to keep the mob as compact as possible.

And why do I call you the One Percenters? Because you and your redistributionist ilk don’t even represent that much of the population. Most of us work for a living and don’t expect everything to be handed to us on a silver platter like you do.

BTW, you should have paid attention in school. The word “its” when used as a possessive does not have an apostrophe. The word “it’s” (note the apostrophe) means “it is”. You have made that mistake many times.
