And God forbid he won the White House, Romney -- and the people who voted for him out of fear, the people who were so busy thinking about who they were voting against that they missed completetly what they were voting FOR -- will strengthen liberalism and statism in the Republican party as well as the Democrat party. It would kill any hope of the Republican party providing an antidote to oppressive government expansion. Americans would come to hate the Republican party with all the passion of betrayal and cynicism.
If Obama won the White House, the Republican party would grow stronger: Congress would go right in the mid terms, and more and more Americans would identify the Democrat party as the party of Bigger Government, and find hope in the Republican party as its antidote.
Decisions made in fear are almost always, in retrospect, stupid decisions. Voting FOR all the things limited government conservatives stand against, i.e. Romney "because if you don't you support Obama" is a coward's rationale and a genuine coup for liberalism. Romney in the White House would be a coward's victory. Liberalism would win even bigger than it would if Obama was re-elected.
BUMP!
Damn, you knocked that one outta the ballpark, Finny. Great job!
