Romney Will Win Because He Has Those Super-PACs and Karl Rove's Support

This little snippet from last night's Iowa caucus coverage is just a taste of what Fox News served last night. Ed Rollins summed up their praise for SuperPACs quite well here. I only have one remaining question: Why is Karl Rove still employed by Fox?

Key point by Rollins:

BAIER: We were talking tonight about SuperPACS and how much they're going to play. If there is a lot of support that coalesces around Santorum as the conservative alternative, SuperPACs could play in places like New Hampshire or South Carolina.

ROLLINS: SuperPACs can play anywhere at this point in time and the master, obviously, is my friend Mr. Rove, who has basically put together a better campaign of SuperPACs than anybody's ever done in history for a Presidential campaign.

Rove, of course, spent his evening working very, very hard to convince Fox viewers that Romney should and ultimately would win by hook or by crook.

No one is more upset about SuperPACs right now than Newt Gingrich, given the Romney campaigns judicious use of them in Iowa to pull Gingrich down to the second tier with a barrage of negative ads. Content and justification for it notwithstanding, there is no question that Romney has the support of the party faithful and original architects of the SuperPAC structure, born out of the Citizens United ruling in January, 2010.

He may but I will not vote for him. If the Republicans want four more years of obama, just nominate Romney.

I am convinced there is a connection between Rove, Forti and the Romney campaign and I am also convinced the majority of analyists on Fox news are in bed with Romney. Look, it was Rove that groomed Forti on the super pacs. Newt has one hell of a tough campaign and he was right to have his atty send the media a cease and desist letter on defamation. Restore Our Future is a tremendous Super Pac and imo operating within a hair of the law. Romney is really buying his way in this campaign.

Bush 41 endorsed Romney but maybe it was because Gingrich was not happy and bucked him on his tax hikes. Look out for Jeb in Fla. The establishment gop is in Mitts pocket

DONT STAY HOME!!!

If you cant bring yourself to pull the lever for Romney you STILL MUST GO VOTE FOR REPUBLICAN CONGRESS SEATS!!!

You can leave off a vote for President.

Obama with a veto-proof congress would be hilarious - we could repeal Obamacare right under his nose

Give that Freeper a prize please! The establishment knows damn well that Mittens will lose to the lawn jockey and all they want is another 4 years of that mess because they figure by 2016 a good majority of Americans will simply vote for Jeb to give the illusion of ending the nightmare.

At some point we are going to have to create a viable third party. Repubs/Dems are all about power, and not about saving the country.

Who are these people voting for Romney? I don't hear any support for him among Republicans, but he seems to be winning. I admit I don't understand the primary process, who votes, who doesn't, etc.

Right so you want to give power to McCain and the rest of the RINO’s in the Senate to gum up the works, haven’t we been down that road before?

Newt will win because of his conservative accomplishments.

(Rove KNOWS Willard has none hence the $$$$$$$ smoke screens.)

Speaker Gingrich led Republicans....the results:

* House Conservative Republicans Back After 40 Years In the Wilderness

* Voting On Each of the Contract With America’s Conservative Promises

* Four Consecutive Balanced Budgets (Remember what those looked like, folks?)

* Successful Massive Welfare Reform

* 11 Million New Jobs

* Unemployment Down To 4%
