"If everybody now in the race just stays in the race throughout the entire state-by-state primary process and convention system, Romney winds up at the convention having garnered his 20-something percent of the vote. The other 80% of more-or-less conservative delegates and candidates are going to stand idly by while the liberal candidate with 20-something percent takes the nomination? I dont think so."
That's wishful thinking. There is no-way, no-how, that the Establishment would allow such a fantasy to occur.
That answer begs the question.
The reason you went that way with it was you know I am right, Romney could be stopped that way just like the elder Romney, and Rockefeller were stopped in 1964.
How would they stop it? (that is not a rhotorical question; what actions would they take to stop it?)
