Rivals Call on Romney to Release Tax Returns; Perry Says "We Need to Know it Now"

MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Texas Governor Rick Perry is demanding Mitt Romney release his tax records, warning there can't be any surprises should the GOP front-runner become the party's nominee.

"Anita and I put out our taxes every year since back the 80s, and every candidate up there, they should put their taxes out, including Mitt," Perry insisted during a town hall meeting.

"You know, November, or excuse me, September and October, is not the time for us to be finding out that whoops, there's something out there that is a problem. We need to know it now."

Perry has hit Romney on this issue before but never by suggesting it could prevent an October surprise.

Meanwhile former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum lashed out at Romney while on the Laura Ingraham Radio show. When asked if he thinks the former Massachusetts Gov. is a liar because of some of his attack ads, Santorum responded, " You know liar means--has he perpetrated lies? Yes he has. I'm not going to judge him as a person I am going to judge what his actions are and his actions were not truthful."

Santorum also called on Romney to release his tax returns, "I don't know why he isn't releasing his tax returns, I think he should. I think it is appropriate that if you are going to run for federal office that you let folks know," said Santorum. "Particularly someone with the enormity of wealth and he keeps going out there talking about how he has all this experience how he's done all these things, and he understands how the economy, well let's see how he managed his own economy."

That said, I'll vote for whomever wins the GOP nomination. (Third party vote splitters would elect Obama.)

That said, Mister Romney will have to disclose fully his financials at some point, better for HIM to do so ASAP.

And, that said, one of our very best issues v Mister Obama is his refusal to release his full and complete and unexpurgated collegiate transcripts. One suspects that Mister Obama is hiding a mountain of creepy and scary truths, here. If Romney refuses disclosure, then that gives Marxist Obama cover to decline disclosure. We need a stronger hand.

FOX news James Rosen reported this morning that in 2006-7 WIllard received 15.5 million from Bain. Maggie F has documented that it may be more today. Seems he left the control of Bain in 1999, BUT not the receipt of financial gain.
Yesterday I came across the fact the Jon Huntsman family business is connected to Bain. (Yes they are cousins) Maggie has also found all the connections on that. Seems that Jon was running a play to deceive the American voters so cuz could get a higher cut of the electorate in NH.

I am so angry as most of America will be if and when the word gets out.

Hope the shhhhh hits the fan soon.

Apparently Sarah, Newt and Rick P know what's in those financial records...Newt given him to Thursday to release them.....The election in SC is Saturday. Will the word get out?

The best way to get someone to release their returns is to release your own and call for all to release theirs.

This IS very interesting. What’s Mitt really hiding? Or is this a false flag (if that’s the right term)...where we go looking for something, think we have the goods on Mitt and then it turns out to be nothing? I’m guessing it’s something...but what? So he made a lot of money? If it was done legally...more power to you Mitt. It’s not about your money that I am having problems w/ ever voting for you.

Think Newt is being a gentleman. Giving Mitt a chance to come forward and release the information. Mitt would not know what Newt has so he might even release a bit more.

OTOH Fox did report that although Mitt said he left Bain in 1999 he was still making 15.5 million in 2006-7. Guess it all depends on what “left” means.

Fellow freepers have much more information on his financial situation, but are waiting to see what Sarah/RIck/RIck/Newt are doing. We don’t want to step on their toes...They may know much more....You can bet that 0 does.
