The scandal here is a major network’s willingness to so distort what someone is saying in such a serious situation. He made a completely rational serious comment about what he intends to work on.

I'm no big Romney fan...but his latest statement about the poor-middle class-and rich...seemed to me to be perfectly logical and actually intuative. I thought it was the best "semi-off-the-cuff" remark he has made in the whole campaign...and sadly is being turned around to where he won't make anymore of them.

I actually feel like I learned something about the guy by that remark...he at least understands priorities.

He was dead right. There is a safety net for the poor, and he sees no reason to worry about the rich. The middle class should be the priority.

Now whether or not he could (or would) successfully do anything about it is a completely different story.

Like I said...I'm no Romney fan...but I will give him a +1 for that statement. Credit where due.
