Last night I went to a dinner party and an army doctor’s parents were at my table. Their son is a colonel who also supports Ron Paul. He is dismayed by the politicization of the military, particularly the social engineering. He no longer trusts the senior brass have the best interest of soldiers or the nation uppermost in their minds. He is particularly upset over the rules of engagement.
I’ve heard some of the same things from a cousin, an Air Force pilot.

My cousin in law, an Army Ranger, is supporting Ron Paul, and for the most part, I respond positively to many aspects of his candidacy. I just got fed up with the Anti-Israel, Anti-military, class warfare stuff, then when Ron Paul called Bradley Manning an American Hero, said, nope, I am done, this guy is in no way presidential. He makes a fine TV curmudgeon, but I will pass on a RP presidency.
