The blunders and delays in declaring the winner and allocation of delegates are looking more than coincidental - the more frequently occur. They all benefit Mitt Romney.

First Iowa, then Maine, now Michigan.

This first for momentum, the other two would be too embarrasing to lose.

Totally intentional. All stops will be pulled...that is until he’s up against a democrat. Then he will shrink back and be civil, because there will no longer be a danger of a non-fellow-traveler becoming president.

There aren't any blunders about it. They know damn well what they're doing.

Cox said that according to the MRP rules, Santorum and Romney should each get one of Michigan's two at-large delegates based on their take of the popular vote.

"I supported Mitt, but the vote was clearly wrong," Cox said of the Credentials Committee. "It's kind of like Third World voting. We published rules and then we voted to change the rules."

I always suspected the GOP establishment moderates would pull this kind of crap when THEY were the ones behind.

These are the same guys that constantly accused conservatives of being sore losers & urged us to 'get on board'.

Romney is a shameless, cheating, lying,
ineligible, chameleon-vulture backstabber.

He is reportedly good to his wife, but he uses her
to pimp HIMSELF. Worse, he does this
by focusing on the poor woman’s illnesses.

No wonder Seamus ran away to Canada.

Disgusting.
On Earth or any other planet.

It is only going to get worse. The GOP-e is going to find ways to rig the tallies on Super Tuesday too. They will not allow Romney to lose.

The next 4 days all the states that Romney is behind in, they will flood the state with tons of negative ads about Rick and Newt. The media will focus on Romney and never report the slew of dirty ads Romney is running.

Just last night, Greta was declaring that those nasty ads were not Mitt’s fault and that he had nothing to do with them.

When the results come in, they will screw around with the delegate apportionment to tip the advantage to Romney.

The GOP-e is angry as hell at the voters for not falling for the guy that was promised the nomination and making sure he gets the easy, early nod in the primaries, so now, they are going to have to do the deciding for us.

Newt and Rick don’t stand a chance. Fix it, they will.

Yeah... But who are “they” and how do we keep them from further corrupting OUR Party? Especially in light of what is at stake this fall.

They don’t call Mitt “Obama lite” for nothing. He and the GOP are using Obama’s playbook or as cripplecreek said “The GOP-e is using Obama tactics against us”

They're easy to spot - they're the ones constantly trying to curry favor with the media and the left. Conservatives embarrass them. They say they want to win, but once ensconced they are typically comfortable in the minority and would just as soon blow out their own brains than to stand for anything on principle. IMO they've carved themselves out a niche in the republican party because the democrats wouldn't have them and they count 100% on knee jerk loyalists' vote.

There used to be a contingent of their supporters here on FR, who's goals basically mimic the politicians. The predominant characteristic is they are mortified by conservative priniciples. They're worthless and sum up whats wrong with the GOP.

Can't get rid of em, and the only time they can be counted on is when they can be convinced they're on the winning side.

Florida was not supposed to be winner take all. And Virginia being closed to only Romney and Paul.

One more thing about these RINO clowns... because they are constantly abused by liberals they suffer from something akin Shaken Baby Syndrome and, naturally being too cowardly to confront their tormentors, usually seek to mollify themselves by attempting to similarly abuse those to their political right.

Right, forgot about those. Also Romney’s team (i.e. the establishment) tried some shenanigans in Nevada.

I hope voters in Virginia vote overwhelmingly for Paul. I know I would. I’m voting for Gingrich on Tuesday in MA.

Very well said dforest. If that’s the case, Rick and Newt should sue for election fraud.

“They” are and always have been the -minority- of this party who routinely behave like hi-jackers. Hi-jackers are always the minority but they they issue ultimatums to us, the majority, the conservatives.

We know what happens when you negotaite with hi-jackers, you embolden them and encourage more.

Romney will manipulate Ron Paul when needed to hammer Rick Santorum and then pull dirty tricks on him in Maine, probably taking a win by having his allies exclude pro-Paul towns from the count. You also have to wonder if Michigan officials did not play with the Santorum numbers in western Michigan, an evangelical stronghold, to keep his margins less than 10% over Romney.
