Vitacost pulled its ads from Rush Limbaugh -- looking for new vitamin supplier

My (formerly) favorite supplement supplier, Vitacost, announced it is pulling sponsorship from Rush's show. Can anyone recommend another supplier? Thanks.

I use Puritan’s Pride (puritan.com) but have never seen anything political from them, either way.

Not all supplements are un-natural.

I understand the term “natural bodybuilding” to mean without hormone or pre-hormone supplementation.

I just unsubscribed and gave my reason as their decision to stop advertising on Rush Limbaugh.

My mother started ordering from Vitamin Shoppe back in the late 70s via mail order and I have used them ever since. All brands, great quality, fast and reliable shipping, nearly always the best cost.

What does not compute? My husband uses a lot of whey protein and we use vitamins like D3 to prevent illness. Are you suggesting that my husband dopes? Because even if he did, he can’t get roids from Vitacost.

Half these advertisers I never heard of... This one especially probably advertises in local markets on stations that broadcast Rush (not his show) and threw this out to get PR.

I get all my stuff, from Sam’s Club. The savings are amazing and they have a very large selection to pick from. I believe they even have several body building protein products as well.

I have been going there for decades and have never been more satisfied.

Rush made Snapple what it was when they were advertising with him. When they stopped their sales dropped off. They were eventually bought out.

The Quaker Oats Company bought Snapple for $1.7 billion in 1994. The company ran into problems and sold it to Triarc in 1997 for $300 million.[3] Triarc sold it to Cadbury Schweppes for $1.45 billion in September 2000.[4] It was spun off in May 2008 to its current owners.

[02:47:08pm] you:

You dropped ads on Rush I just dropped you. Good luck getting CHEAP liberals with a keybaord to replace good long time customers. I can buy vitamans, etc. elsewhere. Can you get back your old customers?! HELL NO!

[02:47:42pm] Rita:
We’d like to address an issue with our radio ads — one of which aired on the Rush Limbaugh radio show. To put it frankly, Mr. Limbaugh’s recent comments have been unsettling, and many of our fans have voiced concern that Vitacost endorses these views. These comments are definitely not in line with our brand values, and in listening to our fans we’ve decided to remove our advertising from the program.

[02:49:05pm] you:
They aren’t your fans! It is an organized political campaign against Rush. They aren’t even your customers! It is all over the internet! Maybe you should figure out you just screwed up BIG TIME!

[02:50:17pm] you:
What exactly are ‘

[02:50:30pm] Rita:
I do apologize for the frustration this has caused. As stated before this is currently be addressed.
[02:50:44pm] you:

YOUR VALUES?! LIES put out by a political campaign?!!
[02:51:29pm] you:

Like I said GOOD LUCK getting customers to replace those who listened to Rush and actually bought your products!

02:52:54pm] Rita:
Your concerns are being taken into consideration. Is there anything else that I could assist you with?

[02:53:02pm] you:
You are fools...really BIG FOOLS!

All of these vendors better have a good shareholder story when their revenues slip this quarter....rush has a big and loyal reach...you’ll be sorry.... hope you can make up for your lost revenue with 30 year old college coeds struggling to pay for their ‘birth control’....

I'm cross referencing what we use with what Swanson has. I think we might go with them. The thing about supplements is that quality matters. The products that we use have ingredients that are independently tested to prove that what the label says is actually in the capsule. They are not just pills and caps of fillers. I'll check out Sam's Club to see if they carry our brands.

Never heard of them on Rush's program, they must be a local advertiser.

Do you have any bulk food outlets such as Sams's Club or Costco? Do you shop in a local Vitacost store or over the internet?
