This evening, I received an email entitled "Bibi was here" from someone named Lee Whitnum. I did a little googling and found out that Lee Whitnum is a woman and is one of six declared candidates for the Democratic nomination to replace Joe Lieberman in the Senate. According to Wikipedia she is not one of the front runners, and we can only hope that the eventual nominee will not be as obsessed with Israel as Whitnum obviously is. AIPAC describes her as "anti-AIPAC activist and software engineer." "What do you do for a living Ms. Whitnum?" "Oh, I'm an anti-AIPAC activist...."
So here's what the email said - God only knows why she thought I would be receptive.

Whitnumb vehemently denies being an anti-Semite, but your quote, and a quick trip to her campaign website belies the truth: She adopts every vicious canard of the arab propaganda machine to vilify Israel. She claims she is only raising an issue of foreign policy and the costs to the American taxpayer, but she has made no other country such a target as Israel. Her particular claim is that we should not be aiding a racist country, ignoring the nazi race and religious ideology which is the basis for every Palestinian movement. It doesn’t call for discrimination against the Jews: It call for them to be exterminated indiscriminately.
I differentiate between anti-Semites and Jew-haters. The latter usually accuse us of heinous acts and outrageous conspiracies, such as would justify genocide if true. The former might want a Jewish lawyer because he wants someone smart and devious. Whitnumb is of the latter.
