Auto insurance depends on how much you drive, where you live, if you're married and even your credit rating. Rates aren't always the only thing to consider. Service is the reason for insurance. If it isn't there when you need it, what good is it? We bundled homes, cars, and personal liability umbrella with Allstate and are happy with what we get for what we pay. I checked Geico a couple of years ago and for the same coverage, Allstate was better and at the time we had Berkshire stock which was supposed to translate into a discount.
Told my nephew before he went to basic in San Diego to not so much consentrate on the tone and delivery options the DI’s take on the recruits...But you’d damn well better hear what they say when they are chewing out someone else for an “issue”...
The volumn, tone and colorful metaphors, is a time saving device, that allows those who were not caught screwing up to get their act together for their’s and the platoons benefit...
This latest Ermey-ism is delievered with the same theory...We had better listen to what is being said and not allow the tone or other adult inflections cloud the true message...
I know a lot of us have probably met the guy face to face, and I can tell ya I was impressed, he didn’t even take offense to the branch of service I chose to serve this country into account...I’d go to war with him anytime, anyplace...
I bet the NRA Board of Directors meetings are a real hoot to attend if he’s around...
An all around good guy in my book...And we need to listen to what he says...
And if Geico drops him, so much the better, they need him worse than he needs them...
Whatever you decide, be sure to ask AAA for a quote. You may have to join for the best rate but, if so, it is like having a tow-truck/battery charger on retainer for $75 (=/-?) a year.
I left Geigo for Allstate when they joined the Glenn Beck boycott. Maybe they’re starting to see where he was right all along.
If you ever travel through the eastern suburbs of Cleveland on I-271, you will see Regressive Insurance and Peter B. Lewis' name plastered on more buildings than Robert Byrd ever did in West Virginia.
Well said.
And it is consistent with the Fourth Law of Thermodynamics which states, "if the heat is on someone else, it is not on you".
(Although the Law is often breached with three of them prowling around.)
GEICO is not only Government Employee Insurance Company but it’s primary investor is none other than Warren Buffet.
Progress, GEICO? No f’in way.
yea fine.

Good point, but only applicable if Allstate’s entire package adds up to less than AAA. I.e., the value and importance of shopping around.
