Sounds like it left a good size impact crater, hope it came down away from any well populated area. Is Columbia, CA a town of any size? I don’t recall hearing of it before. Is this well inland, east of Sacramento?
Columbia, CA is mostly a state park with a restored little main street that operates as a Gold Rush era town, with a blacksmith, stagecoach, and gold panning. Not very big at all.
