One little election...one BIG result!! (vanity)

It has been a pretty fun week or so, since Last Tuesday evening. That was the night of the "shot heard around the USA", so to speak.

The Walker recall election.

It was supposed to be a CAKEWALK. The democrats, unions, Special interests, and so on decided to try and unseat a duly-elected Governor SIMPLY because they did not like his "extreme right" views--and his desire to reduce the stranglehold the unions have on the "public works sector". A simple formality....protest some, run the "tear--jerker" commercials about those "mean, nasty, rich republicans" wanting to see little children starve. Then--throw plenty of money and illegal votes at the recall election and get their "puppet" into the governor's seat...all would then be "back to normal.

An added bonus...After that win...Obama would be able to shout.."the American people have spoken--they do not want to "go backwards". SO would the media trumpet stuff like "the Tea Party is now officially dead".....And "Obama will skate into re-election"....

That was the way it was SUPPOSED to go!!

But THIS TIME..the good Lord had something DIFFERENT in mind....and the result has been MUCH different!!

Not ONLY did Walker "Skate" into holding HIS seat...with enough of a win to counter nearly 7 points of FAKE votes...but the loss to the dems HAS reverberated ALL OVER!!

On and on...we hear things from leading DEM leaders..."Obama is in trouble...Obama has lost it...The party is deserting Obama...

And indeed is does seem to be working out that way.

ALL of the last week--and still this one..Obama has had "Gaffes", ranging from "blaming Bush" for things--which does NOT work anymore. to making a rude--sexual-laced comment about his wife--to saying things like "the private sector is doing fine" regarding the economy..and EACH time he does..... he LOSES MORE support from HIS OWN people.

No Mitt Romney is NOT the one I "wanted". But--like many--I am hopeful that "maybe we can work with him" once he wins. We ALL NOW we cannot work with Pres Kardashian!!

SO--it is a way to go--but at least--it HAS been a fun week or so...

One little election...and it may as well have been a 20kt NUKE-on the demons

In November..prayerfully..it will be a 10MEGATON nuke--to finish it all off!!

One little election..one HUGE result!!

I said on the thread that it was the greatest political moment I’d ever lived through and I still think that.

It really was a “shot heard ‘round the world”.

After 3 days of being almost sick to my stomach with worry, not usually a way I feel; I was LITERALLY rolling on my floor, I was, ask hubby. That’s how happy I was! I could not contain myself.

That election brought me to high levels of emotion, but I don’t really feel silly about it, because IT WAS THAT IMPORTANT.

God bless Scott Walker and the people of the great state of Wisconsin.
