I don't know your denomination.
But in general "the isles" are where we came from.
If I told you, chances are you wouldn't believe me.
The Bible refers to countries as "houses" of "named individual".
In short, and if you will hear it, "the isles" are Great Britain, referred to as Ephraim and Manasseh.
Notice what happened in Genesis 48, and pay very close attention to verse 16.

" and let my name be named on them "

Remember the war between Israel and the Jews?
So the nation of Israel is NOT the HOUSE of ISRAEL.
