I think its the nature of Christianity. "Turn the other cheek", "love thy neighbor", a focus on the afterlife as an escape from life's misery, when taken too far, lead to surrender and submission. New testament philosophy is made for a people living under the boot-heal of another power as the Jews were living under Roman rule during the formation of Christianity.
It's only when Christians go old testament that they seem to develop some backbone. This finally happened when Christians stopped the spread of Islam into Europe. Europe was almost lost.
I hope it doesn't take another 7 centuries to stop Islam's spread.

Nope. But Kerry’s accomplices in Florida were certainly Maronites. Even had a hand in the winter soldier plots.

They can be shut down by the authorities if they did not file for hazardous materials permits and especially if they did not get the parcel properly rezoned as an explosives handling facility.
