The Democratic National Committee has terminated the employment of Houston, Texas, Organizing For America Regional Field Director Stephanie Caballero after she was caught on camera calling voter fraud “cool” and “so funny” while advising a presumably-liberal voter how to vote twice.
In a comment to the liberal Talking Points Memo, DNC spokeswoman Melanie Roussell accused James O’Keefe and Project Veritas of selectively editing their videos – but admitted that what Caballero did on his tape was wrong and she’s now been fired.
“There is obviously a history here of making selective use of taped material, and we will certainly not vouch for the completeness of what was released,” Roussell said. “However, what we saw was enough for us to take the action that we did.”
Caballero was caught helping a young woman try to vote in Florida and Texas in the upcoming election. At one point on the tape, Caballero said of the voter fraud she was facilitating: “Oh, my God. This is so funny. It’s cool though.”
Caballero hasn’t answered The Daily Caller’s requests for comment – or other media outlets’ similar requests.
She worked for President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign’s community organizing arm, Organizing For America, in Houston, Texas, before she was fired on Thursday. Federal Election Commission records show she was paid by the DNC.
The DNC and Obama campaign hadn’t commented on the matter at all on Wednesday and Caballero wasn’t fired until House Judiciary Committee chairman Rep. Lamar Smith called on the Obama campaign and DNC to fire all paid staffers involved in such voter fraud.
This video appears to be only the first in a series. It ends by cutting to a montage of different clips of Obama campaign volunteers and staffers all over the country helping O’Keefe’s Project Veritas activists get set up to vote twice, a sign there’s likely more to come.
Then, the on screen text shows a challenge for the media: “Put your reputation on the line, journalists. Say this is an ‘isolated incident.’”
One down, thousands to go.

Houston also had the campaign office with several Che flags for Obama in 2008.

She was probably fired for only having someone vote twice...that’s nothing, I remember in 2008 I would hear people on TV say they voted 50 times for Obama..Im shocked they fired her, I would think they would have given her a promotion..after all, this is what Dems do best, voter fraud..its ALL they know how to do to win elections, can’t win it fair and square

But she’ll probably get a promotion soon; I bet they’re telling her to weather the backlash for a few days, then she’ll be “justly” compensated for her good, just work in keeping us nasty Republicans out of office.

Somebody needs to file suit against her for violating their civil rights. Instead of a slap on the wrist she will have to pay to defend herself. Hit them in the pocket book and this will slow down to a snails pace instead of being rampant like it is now.

Beat me to it. The firing was not for the fraud, but for being caught at it.
The firing offense here was getting caught. Betcha this person is re-hired after the election.
