Ramming a vehicle and shooting at it before determining if it is the suspect's vehicle is reckless beyond belief.

They should be charged and convicted of attempted murder.

They should be charged and convicted of attempted murder.

Here's an example of the what happens when a cop fires into a car (and admits that he has not idea who is inside)

OCEANSIDE: Police say off-duty cop fired five shots in suspected road rage incident

The cop was off-duty. He shot a woman and her son, then the cops drug tested the shooting victim. The off-duty cop got off scott free.

I'm asking a serious question: If cops do that thinking it's the bad guy even though they had no idea who was in both trucks, is that okay? If it isn't, and regular citizens fire at three people in two different trucks, they would be charged with attempted murder, right? So, why can cops get away with that, if they can?

I don't hear any outrage except from the one guy and his lawyer.

Why aren't those cops arrested and charged? I could say I made a mistake and shot up two trucks with a total of three people hurt and two of them shot - they would still put me in jail. I don't get it.
