If this is in fact the case, then we’ll have to make up the loss elswhere, in AR, AK, SD, NJ, WV, NH, MT, LA, IA, VA, NC or MN.
And even if this is the case, at least the senate repulicans will have a new, better leader (unless Cornyn is reelected and moves up, which will essentially be the same old thing).
What you see here is the GOP version of Done While Democrat. People just don’t want to hear how bad McConnell is because he is the Senate GOP “leader”.
