Citizen reporting, while not as polished as that from journalism school majors, has the advantage of being less concerned with political correctness and more concerned with accuracy. This type of reporting is to be encouraged as we build the new media.

We had one in Albuquerque, NM over the weekend, as well. Reports (didn't go, no dough) were that if you could find parking, that the wait to get into the show was 1.5 hours, or so.

OK, I grant your point about accuracy in citizen reports but that doesn’t make the use of hillbilly grammar any less grating. JMO, YMMV...

Thanks for posting the sitrep from Tucson; seems to me the prices weren’t out of line based on reports I’ve seen from the Missouri & Kansas gun shows that shootin’ folks I know have attended.

Gun Show at Yuma County Fair Grounds. I went at 10:30am Saturday, I didn’t need anything bad enough to wait in that line, went home. I went Back at 1:00 pm, only 5 people in line, Lots of high prices, SKS $400.00 a local dealer had 3 AKs for $700.00, he had sold 12 guns by 1:30. Any other AKs I saw were $1000.00, ARs over $1000.00. Ammo prices were from high to insane. I hung out for a while with my Tea Party friends, at their table, bought 3 ammo cans and left.

I’m really looking forward to the (Pinetop)-Lakeside *private* gun show on the 9th. Private sellers and buyers only, no dealers. No background checks.

I imagine there is going to be some really interesting guns for sale there, at some really interesting prices.

Even odds that some BATF&E thugs, in uniform or not, will try something outrageous. Likewise the feds might send in some undercover zombies to make trouble.
