Former LA cop and liar, killed about four people that he said were in revenge for having been fired, was burned to death in house up in the woods by sheriff—looks suspicious because no catching him alive for trial
Yeah. I googled it. The only thing I cared about regarding that story was the innocent people the cops shot up. But I don’t live in LA or California, and this is one of the reasons why.
The last time I visited LA was for a friend’s daughter’s college graduation - and in doing so I broke my vow to never step foot in that state again.
On the trip we approached a police road block just before dusk. We pulled into a parking lot just before the road block to see what all teh fuss was and the cops were on us like stink on sh** because we appeared to be fleeing a checkpoint. I don’t do police state well. It’s why I moved from Seattle to KY and why we stopped going to California years ago. I’m in the land of Rand Paul, and all that that implies. And we are not a state. We are a commonwealth.

My reaction to this story was a little like my reaction to a car bombing in Baghdad or a murder in Chicago. It’s what happens there and why I avoid the place.
