Failed to save as in turned the boats of Jews away? He did not want to antagonize Hitler. Besides, he had already bought into the “the Jews are the problem” mentality.

Since Roosevelt only won 82%, then 85%, then 90%, and then 90% of the Jewish vote when he became President for life, democrats can only wonder at what it would have taken to do better with them.
