Did they have a warrant? If not, why did he consent to a search of his computer. I wouldn’t let them search for my chili receipts without a properly executed search warrants. Let’s all play by the rules.

Agreed. I cannot imagine why he let them search without a warrant.

A friend of mine who has a farm recently had his home invaded by the SPCA and they took all his computers including his confidential communications with his attorneys that were on the computers! Yes... Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals!!! IN much of the country, PETA has joined forces with the SPCA and is sending in undercover farm workers to hang farmers out to dry. One of my clients had a warrant issued against him for not calling a veterinarian for one of his 300 head dairy cows as the PETA undercover worker said the cow had a fever.

Stupid PETA worker didn’t even know that the normal temperature of a dairy cow is ranges from 100.5° F to 102.5° F, but some healthy cattle may have body temperature of 103°F, not 98.6 degrees like humans! In the interim he had to spend several thousand dollars to defend himself.

PETA’s aggressiveness is only exceeded by their stupidity!!
