PN = Pitcairn Islands. But of course. I was thinking Papua New Guinea, but that country uses PG.

Pitcairn Island is named for a son of the Major John Pitcairn who commanded the British troops on April 19, 1775, at the battle of Lexington. He was killed on June 17, 1775, in the battle of Bunker Hill.

Several Demos tried to spread the blame over Republican and Demonrat administrations, although there’s no precedent for anything this egregious. And one blamed the witnesses for applying for tax exemptions.

Just imagine if this had happened under a Republican administration. The weeping and gnashing of teeth would have been deafening

Well, the Republicans are weeping and gnashing, but that's meaningless.

What they SHOULD be doing is opening a proper investigation, i.e., empanelling a Special Committee, hiring prosecutors, and developing a theory that, if proven, would support Articles of Impeachment.

I don't think they are giong to do any of those things. Do you?

Within two years we will clearly see who in Congress has the Warrior mentality (my prediction: WarriorCount = 0).

You are SO right.

Napoleon said, "If you are going to take Vienna, take Vienna". When the Democrats decided to get rid of Nixon, every single thing they did - every speech, every committee, even every question at a hearing, was designed for one single purpose - to discover, AND TO SHOW THE PEOPLE THAT THEY HAD DISCOVERED, evidence of crimes of State sufficient to justify the removal of a President who had, 18 months before, received 61% of the popular vote and 520 electoral votes.

And they pulled it off. Not with blazing speeches. Not with gotcha questions. Not with harassment of obviously minor officials.

They had a clear goal, they were united in their pursuit of that goal, and they were relentless.

None of this exists among the House GOP today. Half of them would shit their pants at the thought of a process that could actually send moving vans to #1600.

So, they posture and preen, they investigate in 100 directions, they speak with 100 different voices, and the inevitable result will be that Obama gets stronger.

“Isn’t “chiling” spelled ChiLLing?”

Yes it is. But the FR moderator is very touchy and likes the titles as is!

And all I hear from my leftist friends is how the TV told them that Republicans do it, too...

You can’t fight against a population too dumbed-down to give a damn.
