These satire stories are great, I am having trouble these days seeing the difference between them and what’s happening.
satire aside, you just know Harry Reed would love to find a way to shut down the government, create mass confusion, and make sure the Republicans are blamed. That could tilt the 2014 election if he can find a way to pull it off.

The Democrats should exercise extreme caution in the budget fight, because the most recent example, of sequestration, has proven to be a Republican victory.
Even though Obama tried to make it as painful as possible to the American people, he failed. The unavoidable conclusion is that the government has such vast bloat, that nobody will notice if a LOT of it is cut.
So shut down the government. Save a ton of money. And only start it back up when the public demand it, not the Democrats and certainly not their MSM allies.
Cut for the sake of cutting. There’s a long way to go through pure blubber before you get anywhere near the meat.
