If you think his speech was funny you should read the letter he sent to all furloughed government workers today. I was howling with laughter as my girl friend read it to me. I begged her to let me scan it so I could post it here but she absolutely refused, fearful of possible recriminations.

No no no no...NOT furloughed.
That’s the progressive way of changing the definitions and words so they can weasel out of reality. See, by calling them furloughed, the govt doesn’t have to explain their necessity.
They are NON-ESSENTIAL workers. So please, I beg you, don’t call them furloughed. Call them what they are. And correct others to do the same.
